It is with much pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation for Paul Galloway. I have
known Mr. Galloway for the past three years as he has served as principal in the Groveport
Madison School District. He has served as principal at Groveport Madison JuniorHigh and is
currently a vice-principal at Groveport Madison High School.
Mr. Galloway has served as a most capable administrator from the onset. He is a strong student
advocate, yet is able to balance student needs with student safety, building rules and building
administration. He is highly organized in his day to day administrative duties. He is an effective
communicator with staff, students and parents. Mr. Galloway's calm and positive manner has a
significant positive impact on students and parents, and is an asset in conflict resolution. The
teaching staff is respectful of his guidance and supportive of his decisions.
Mr. Galloway is a strong advocate of professional development for staff, and works to support
the goals of District professional development. He leads the Building Leadership Team and is
avid about meeting with the teacher-based teams. He is a strong leader for academic excellence
and is insistent that staff follow the approved course of study in all classes.
I serve as a Supervisor of Special Education for grades 6 through graduation and have worked
with Mr. Galloway to develop behavioral plans for students and to develop interventions for
students in need. Mr. Galloway's input in IEP and behavioral meetings has alrays been
welcome.
I have only positive comments for Mr. Galloway and therefore have no reservation in
recommending him for employment as an administrator with your district. He has definitely
been an asset to Groveport Madison Schools and I am sure he will prove an asset to your district.
