3. Interests and Achievements:
My biggest interest would be football. I have been playing football since I was 7
years old for local teams, St. Peters, Summerhill, St. Josephs, and Gentex Football
Clubs. During my time in St. Aloysius College I was a regular fixture in both the
football and Gaelic football teams. I also spent time as captain of all of the above
clubs.
I am a great Manchester United fan and am a regular visitor to Old Trafford
Football Stadium. I have also followed them to Champions League Finals in
Moscow, Rome and London in recent years.
My other interests include Gaelic Football where I played with my local club
Clann na nGael since I was 8 years old.
I began coaching in 2014 and in my first season as coach my team won the
league we played in, I also was given the first team job with 6 games remaining
and with certain relegation pending we turned it around and stayed up with a
win on the last day of the season, and I see this as one of my greatest
achievements as relegation would have cost the club thousands.
I am an enthusiastic, honest, hard-working person that enjoys a challenge and
working as part of a team and I have taken great satisfaction in leading my team
both in work and in sport in the last two years.
