Vale Inco Europe 2014- November 2016 - I completed (Worked as) an electrical apprentice. In this
role I was responsible for the both the installing and maintaining of electrical and electronic systems
and attending urgent breakdowns to keep the production running. I got to work on various different
industrial equipment, I also worked with IA control systems namely Foxboro. During my time at Vale
some of the equipment I have worked on include; industrial ovens and furnaces, star delta motors,
pumps, level switches and domestic circuits . I also acquired some experience on programming
PLC's, installing and programming flow meters, thermocouples, panels and many other types of
installations. During this time I have also attended a college course at the college of northwest
London and studied an NVQ. After completing my apprenticeship I left in order to pursue higher
education. (references can be provided upon request).
Hatfield Swim centre 2010-to 2013- Worked as a lifeguard being responsible for the safety of all the
customers and people on poolside. Having made numerous rescues including a man and his son
simultaneously and performed first aid on many occasions; I believe this demonstrates my
competency and professionalism in the workplace.
Westminster lodge 2012-2013 – Worked as a lifeguard at Westminster Lodge Swim Centre St
Albans. Being responsible for the safety of all the customers and people on poolside, due to lack of
staff this made the job far more demanding, but my experience and hard working attitude helped me
to cope.

Personal statement
I am an optimistic hard working individual who can work well with a team and enjoy sharing in the
company’s success. I have a keen interest in the martial arts (Being a sensei at Kasho Jujitsu Ryu,
which requires a great deal of responsibility and dedication to teach and perform). I am also keen on
strength training and conditioning which I think help builds a healthy body and discipline. My working
commitment is reflected in my attitude to sports and training where hard work gets results.
My future prospects
In the future my main career goal is to finish complete training to industry standards and become fully
qualified in the electrical/electronics industry. I would also like to further my martial arts career and
achieve certain strength and fitness goals, as well as travel other parts of the world and experience
other cultures. short term, I am currently about to finish my level 3 NVQ in electrical engineering and
to completing a HNC course in electrical and electronic engineering.
