Maintain electrical systems from main distribution to branch circuits, programming on lighting
control system, monitor fire alarm system, access controls and CCTV troubleshooting, repair and
installation. Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment,
appliances, apparatus and fixtures, using hand and power tools. Diagnose malfunctioning systems,

2. apparatus and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown
and correct the problem. Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers or other components.
Inspect electrical systems, equipment and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for
adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes. Advise management on whether
continue operation of equipment could be hazardous. Test electrical systems and continuity of
circuits in electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures using testing devices. Maintain current
electricians license. Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures. Use a
variety of tools and equipment. Work from ladder and catwalk (roof) to install, maintain or repair

myself. Install , services and repairs lighting fixtures, electrical panels, outlets and wiring. Operates
power hand tools and other specialized electrical equipment. Install, repairs and services specialized
electrical equipment and machinery. Reads electrical circuit diagrams. Transfer primary power from
one power source to another. Installs conductors, splices cable, builds terminations and does
necessary hook-up for primary power lines. Prepare sketches or follow blueprints to determine the
location of wiring and equipment and to ensure conformance to building and safety codes. Perform
business duties such as maintaining records and ordering supplies and equipment. Work from
ladders and roofs to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures. Place pipes
or tubing inside designated partitions, walls or other concealed areas, and pull insulated wires or
cables through the conduit to complete circuits between boxes. Fasten small metal or plastic boxes
to walls to house electrical switches or outlets. Maintain maintenance services for a 48 unit
apartment complex and service calls. Maintain a current electricians license.
