CONFUSING WORDS
DEFINITION:
CONFUSING WORDS are words that in the Italian
dictionary have only one definition to define similar
meanings whereas in English they have various
translations depending on how they are used.

CLOTHES is a collective noun and it's
used to describe what you are wearing.
DRESS is a woman's outfit.
SUIT is a man's outfit

CUSTOMER is a person who buys
goods or services from a shop or
company.
CLIENT is somebody who pays for a
service from a professional person or
company.

“I must be Amazon's best client because
I'm always buying books from them”

do you have each month? Do
you usually TRAVEL by
plane or by car?
TRIP is a short journey with a specific
purpose.
JOURNEY is the period spent
travelling to your destination.
TRAVEL is mainly used as a verb.

France and I traveled by plane“
