Counseling and Communication. Over ten years of successful counseling experience with
family, adolescents, parenting and group therapy. Over four years in private practice, and over
six years full time employment with Bacon Street, an adolescent substance abuse/addiction out-
patient clinic. Ms. Kayanan provided family, and group counseling as well as Intensive
Outpatient program for adolescents and their families. Over 20 years experience teaching Neuro
Linguistic Programming (NLP) to families, adolescents, and professionals including Therapists,
teachers, Police officers, Executive Managers in U.S. Government as well as Corporate
Presidents from Germany, France, Holland, Denmark, U.S.A., Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Brazil,
Portugal and South Africa.
Supervision and Leadership. Supervisor of graduate students from the College of William &
Mary. Program director for Intensive Outpatient Program for adolescents at Bacon Street.

Anxiety, Phobia, and Violence to mention a few. Provides instruction in anger management,
parenting and relaxation techniques. Provides counseling for families, individuals, and couples.
Work entails diagnosis, treatment planning and implementation counseling. This requires the
personal application of treatment principles, techniques and practices to a large caseload of
intensive outpatients and their families. Develops and prepares the curriculum used in this
