Information about the Council's Copy Unit

1. Printing & Copying Services
• All Print & Copy requests need to be
directed through us,

• Please arrange to talk to us about your
requirements

will use our Print Frame Work,
to obtain the best quote.

2. Our Printers:- 1204
The 1204 is our mono printer (Black)
It can produce per minute..
• 120 single sided A4 copies
• 65 double sided A4 copies
• 54 single sided A3 copies
• 38 double sided A3 copies
• Documents can have multiple
coloured pages
•Documents can be stapled, 1 or 2
•Documents can be folded to booklet,
A4 or A5
.

3. Our Printer:- 6500
The 6500 is our colour printer
•It can produce per minute..
65 single sided A4 colour & mono copies
33 double sided A4 colour & mono copies
33 single sided A3 colour & mono copies
18 double sided A3 colour & mono copies
Documents can have multiple
coloured pages
Documents can be stapled, hole
punched & folded in to a booklet

4. Our Printer:- CW 700
The CW 700 is the new printer which prints and fold plans.
With this printer we can produce the following:-
A2, A1 & A0 posters without bleed on 80gsm.

5. Finishing
• We have a large guillotine
which can trim large quantises
of stock.
• We can drill either 2 or 4 holes
into documents, this can either
be done while printing on the
6500 or on our free standing
machine
• We offer different ways to bind
documents, these include
Wire
Tape
Comb
• We can fold small
quantises on our
packing machines

6. Other Services
• Mail Merge
• If you have a large number of letters to send talk
to us
• Our printers are quicker and cheaper to use
• We also have a folder inserter to pack for us

7. How can you help us?
– Ringing ahead with any copy work so we can
schedule the work into the daily work plan
– Talk to us about what you require, we can
help & advise

8. How can we save more money?
• Use the Copy Unit for large copy jobs rather than
sending to an MFD, let us do the work for you.
• We have a Print Contract for all work we cannot
complete in house. We obtain quotes by using
the Print Frame Work Agreement.
• There are 6 companies attached to the Frame
Work so we can be sure to get best practise.
