1) Phase 1 of the Nairobi Metro Fiber project involved laying 552 km of fiber, equivalent to the distance from Nairobi to Kampala.
2) The project took 8 months to complete and ramped up over the first 9 weeks as resources were mobilized and training was performed.
3) By 24 weeks, 500 km of trenching, duct laying, and backfilling had been completed and 300 km of fiber had been blown.

• If put in 20ft containers it required 7718 containers
• Enough to fill 02 Panamax-Class Container ships
• At peak Huawei had 1.000 to 1.100 labourers.
• Ericsson had at peak 500 labourers.
