Career achievements:
 Attend a lot of plant shutdowns and major shutdown and a Member of S/D team who
prepare and review isolation procedure, JSA for all plant shutdowns PTW, time plan for all
operations jobs, carry out S/D tasks and restart the plant again safely.
 Commissioning and start up of new projects (propane refrigerant purifier – BOG
compressor – LNG vapor return quench line – electrical and diesel air compressors –
nitrogen package).
 Prepared a procedure to prevent flaring of refrigerants during train S/D.
 Member of ERT (emergency response team).
 Participated in a HAZOP studies for new projects and Re-HAZOP for the plant.
 Participated many times in emergency drills to be ready for any emergency case.
 Developed with a team the STOP system which improves the safety culture and behavior
of our colleagues.
 Developed a system called WOSSIT (Weekly Observational Site Safety Inspection Tour)
which helps to keep our plant in a safe condition.

EXPERIENCE
Since Jan. 2008 till now at ELNG (Egyptian Liquefied Natural gas), ELNG is gas
liquefaction company with Capacity of 3.6 Million Tons LNG annual / train using Conco
Phillips Optimized Cascade technology.
Include, Acid Gas Removal Unit Using (DGA), Mercury Removal Unit, Dehydration Using
(Molecular Sieve), Gas liquefied in Cascade process by Using Propane, Ethylene,
Methane refrigerant in (Cold Box), and Heavy Removal Unit, And Turbo compressors
NUOVO PIGNONE Frame 5, Storage Tanks Loading and Jetty.

2. DCS panel operator: Since Jan_2010 till now
Certified competent panel operator assessed by BG-group under CAMS (Competency Assurance
Management System), and responsible to:
 Ensures safe and efficient operations at all times at field and control room.
 Operates the facility DCS and HMI systems, using DCS Emerson delta-V 7.2.
 Manages the facility ESD Overrides.
 Operating jetty and LNG loading facilities from control room.
 A key member of the Emergency Response teams responsible for control room panel
management or the initiation of Emergency plant isolations as per ERP procedure.
 Active monitoring of all control room process and systems.
 Identify and respond to plant operating outside normal parameters of malfunction and
carry out the necessary action to correct, report actions to the Operations Team Lead.
 Completes all relevant records and log books, in order to generate required reports.
 Gather and collect data for the process and utility equipment, identify actions to be taken
to minimize equipment and machinery failure.
 Recover plant from any emergency shutdown and minimize loss of production, whilst
adhering to operating procedures.
 Complete pre-startup/operating checks, ensuring all interdependent systems are available.
 Complete post start-up/operating checks to ensure normal operating conditions.
 Manages the plant and equipment within their operating design limits.
 Maintain and be aware of all works being carried out of the installation, which may have
an impact on the normal and safe operation of plant, including awareness of all active
permits to the work issued and accepted.
 Support Operations Team Lead to seek out gaps in production activities, contributing to
and delivering production improvements.
 Assists with shutdown preparations and isolations
 Interfaces with Maintenance and Engineering to recommend improvements in the
operating and maintenance procedures.
LNG, Operation: from Jan_2008 till Jan_2010
 Cover the duty of DCS operators.
 Safe operating of all plant equipment from field and DCS.
 Respond to plant trouble shootings (SDP, ESDP & equipment trip) from field and DCS.
 Monitor DCS, SIS and F&G system and keep the operating parameters within the safe
limits.
 Safe isolation and de-isolation for plant equipment.
 Review JSA, PTW and follow the procedures and working instructions.
 Operating all plant's units, equipments and utilities units.
 Operating jetty and LNG loading facilities from field and DCS.
 Familiar with PFD, PID, flow charts.
