This document summarizes a start-up summit being held in Brno and Prague, Czech Republic in August 2017. The 7-day summit will involve 30 people from 9 countries, ages 18-30, participating in entrepreneurship training and activities. Participants will stay in apartments in Brno and take a day trip to Prague. The agenda includes team-building, business idea generation, developing business models, marketing strategies, and presentation skills. Travel expenses will be reimbursed and activities, accommodation, and meals provided. Participants must actively attend all activities and bring specified materials.

KEY INFORMATION
This is a summary of a project Start-up Summit which was granted by the Czech National
Agency. The project is a follow-up of a successful training course “You-the young
entrepreneur” held in Brno, Czech Republic in August 2015.
The project will take place in a
city center of Brno. Participants

5. CONDITIONS
• The project is funded from the Erasmus+ fund.
• Accommodation, at least three meals per day and activities will be provided to
participants.
• Travel expenses will be reimbursed according to the travel calculator. Travel
reimbursement will be done after the project via bank transfer when provided all
the necessary travel documents.
• Visa expenses for Belarusian and Armenian participants will be reimbursed after
the project with a limit 70 Eur/person.
• Each participant will be required to pay 20 Euro participation fee.
• It is necessary to actively attend all activities during the project.

7. THE VENUE
The project takes place in Brno, Czech Republic with one day excursion to Prague. Participants will visit
several innovation centers and places which support young entrepreneurs.

8. THE ACCOMMODATION
Participants will stay in Internesto apartments – unique themed apartments in Brno city centre. The
rooms are for 2-5 people with shared shower and bathroom. See more at www.internesto.com
The address of Internesto apartments is Veselá 14, Brno. 2 minutes walk from the main square and
three minutes walk from tram stop Česká.

10. IMPORTANT: BRING WITH YOU
• All the boarding passes and invoices (otherwise the travel expenses cannot be reimbursed)
• Cameras or phones with cameras (we will shoot cool promotional videos)
• 2 laptops per country (we will cut the videos, so have some laptops with movie maker)
• Travel insurance confirmation
• National symbols, national food (we will have cultural nights where you will be presenting
your country)
• Pocket money
• 20 EUR participant fee (will be deducted from reimbursement)
• Swimwear (we might go swimming to the city dam if weather allows us on sports afternoon)
• Good mood, energy and open mind

11. IMPORTANT: PREPARE AT HOME
Each of you is about to prepare little homework before your arrival to the project. The task is
very simple and will help a lot while defining your business idea:
1. At the end of the day write down 3 things which you were really good at that day. Do this
10 days in a row before the project. Bring this list with you.

12. IMPORTANT: ARRIVALS
Arriving to Prague by plane?
From the airport get to central railway station using Airport express bus and then take train to
Brno. It is direct train and you can buy the tickets to Brno at the station.
Alternative and more comfortable way to Brno is to take direct Student Agency bus from Main
Bus Station Florenc. The tickets can be bought at www.studentagency.eu/en.
Arriving to Vienna by plane?
Take Student Agency bus to Brno (yellow bus) leaving from the airport or from Vienna
Busterminal Stadioncenter. Book it here www.studentagency.eu/en. Book it as soon as
possible. Tickets will be sold out soon.
