MOTIVATION
• Our Motto behind this Lamp Prototype was to design an Energy Efficient Lamp using
Ecofriendly Material.
• This Prototype is inspired by the Japanese design because it has a balanced
combination of technology and culture.
• Our Motto is that to make and provide a simply artistic design outlook with energy
efficient lights.

Survey
• Survey is a major aspect in understanding user’s problem and requirements.
• Survey enables the manufacturer to take valuable reviews of their product as well as the
products existing in market.
• Survey helps designer for innovating new and well finished products.
• Method of survey was one to one customer interaction.(Questionnaire)

POWER SUPPLY DESIGN

Various aspects of power supply Design are as
follows:
• Stepping down AC Voltage by using Transformers.(Step Down)
• Rectification : By using Bridge arrangement of diodes one can rectify any AC
Voltage into pulsating DC Voltage.’
• Filter: Electrolytic Capacitor converts pulsating DC to pure DC without any
ripples.
• Voltage regulation: By using Voltage Regulator IC 7812 which maintains
constant supply of 12 V.
• Protection Circuit: The Voltage Regulator IC is protected using two Ceramic
capacitors across I/O of the Regulator IC. This Prevents the reverse flow of
currents into the Regulator IC thus further avoiding damage to it.
