To whom it may concern:
I am writing to recommend that you consider Omar Aliady for an internship or position at your
organization. Some individuals quickly stand out for their great qualities and Omar is one of
those people. He has volunteered for me as an event assistant for the Mr. and Miss Kentucky
Basketball Awards Ceremony presented by the Kentucky Lions Eye Foundation where I am the
Communications Coordinator. For the past two years, Omar has helped immensely with the day
of event details and has communicated frequently between events regarding event suggestions
and offering great ideas and positive feedback. He is well known for his great work ethic,
positive attitude and teamwork mentality. Throughout the time I've known him, Omar has
shown me time and again that he is a positive, motivated leader wdth amazing potential.
During his brief time volunteering for the Kentucky Lions Eye Foundation, our staff developed a
strong trust and respect for Omar as he played an important role in our largest fundraiser of the
year. In fact, he was so helpful that we wish we could utilize his volunteer efforts full time but
he is looking for more sports industry experience than we can currently offer.
In summation, due to Omar's great attitude, dedication and excellent potential, I would heartily
recommend that you accept Omar for an internship or pennanent position. I am sure that he
would not let you down and would be as great an asset to your team as he has been to mine.
Please don't hesitate to contact me if I can be of further assistance. I can be reached by phone at
