Georgia Upgrade of Municipal Infrastructure
Amount: EUR 100 million.
Description: The loan addressing the rehabilitation and
upgrading of Georgia’s municipal infrastructure
over the whole country, including water and waste
water infrastructure, municipal roads and public
buildings, will help to improve the everyday living
conditions of Georgian citizens.

Description: A framework loan to support the construction and
upgrading of selected priority primary and
secondary roads to ensure (i) Georgia's global

through the Black Sea ports, Turkey, Armenia and
Azerbaijan and (ii) local mobility on the East-West
Highway connector roads.

Supporting Access to Finance
EIB and EIF - leading provider of guarantees - are now joining forces to support SMEs and
promote private sector development in Georgia.
For the first time in the region two new programmes are available :
DCFTA Initiative East
The Initiative aims to strengthen economic development in the
countries that have signed Association Agreements with the EU -
namely Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine - by providing targeted
financial and technical support to SMEs in these three countries.
