4.  Two High-level Policy Dialogues on benefits of regional cooperation on
the energy-water-land use nexus transformation in Central Asia
(Tashkent, 15 October 2021 & Almaty, 16 June 2022)
 A new Green Growth Paper: Benefits of regional co-operation on the
energy-water-land use nexus transformation in Central Asia (May
2022)
 Economic Advisory support to greening post COVID-19 economic
responses in Moldova, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan (including collection of
updated information for a regional overview)
 Reports on greening the economy in Moldova using OECD green
growth indicators (with a web platform and a high level launch meeting in
February 2022) and in Ukraine (report ready but its launch postponed)
 Support to Ukraine’s Working Group on Environmental Safety as
part of the development of the Post-war Recovery and Development Plan
 Development of a Policy Brief on Green Reconstruction of Ukraine
for the Lugano Conference

11.  Finalisation of work on designing Green Public Investment Programmes in
Moldova (urban transport), Georgia (biowaste) and Azerbaijan (water
supply in rural areas) with several webinars and training sessions
 2020 update on Fossil-Fuel Subsidies in the EU Eastern Partner
Countries: Estimates and Recent Policy Developments (with the inclusion of
2020 data into the OECD database
 Support to a report on fossil-fuel subsidies in Armenia in the context of the
SDG reporting framework (via UNEP)
 Support to reforming the National Ecological Fund in Moldova, including the
development of the NEF regulation approved by the Parliament in March 2022
and an Operation Manual
 Analysis of prospects for reforming environmental taxes and charges in
Ukraine (currently on hold)
 Analysis of the use of green bonds in the EaP countries and Kazakhstan
(presentation of country and region-wide findings planned for 12-13 May 2022)
