INTRODUCTION
The Human Behavior in Organization – is the study of both group and individual
performance and activity within an organization. This area of study examines human
behavior in a work environment and determines its impact on job structure,
performance, communication, motivation, leadership, etc.
Human – Someone or something that is related to or associated with people or
humanity.
Behavior – is the way of a person or thing acts or reacts.
Organization – means refer to group or business, or to the act of forming or establishing
something. It can also refer to a structure for classifying things or to a system of
arrangement or order

Decision making
- Is the process of making choices by identifying a
decision, gathering information, and assessing
alternative resolutions. Using a step-by-step decision
making process can help you make more deliberate,
thoughtful decisions by organizing relevant
information and defining alternatives.
Decision Making in Group
Group decision-making and teamwork
involved multiple individuals that analyze various issues and situations and
consider how to solve them. The overall effectiveness of group decision-making
depends on many factors.
For example,
TIME CONSTRAINTS OR ANY UNDERLYING CONFLICTS CAN IMPACT THE GROUP
DECISION-MAKING OUTCOMES.
That’s why, before problems occur, it’s vital to establish group decision-making
procedures and monitor them along with their implementation
There are steps of decision making process. The following are the important step of the decision making
process, its step maybe supported by different tools and techniques. However, we can follow as well a
structural process of decision making as follows;
IDENTIFICATION OF THE PURPOSES OF THE DECISION
In this step, the problem is thoroughly
analyzed. There are couple of questions
should asked when it comes to identifying
the purposes of the decision
INFORMATION GATHERING
A problem of an organization will have many
stakeholders. In addition, there can be dozens
of factors involved and affected a problem of
an organization will have many stakeholders
PRINCIPLES FOR JUDGING THE
ALTERNATIVES
In this step the baseline criteria for judging the
alternatives should be set up. When it comes to defining
the criteria, organizational goals as well as the corporate
culture should be taken into consideration
BRAINSTORM & ANALYZE THE
DIFFERENCE CHOICES
In this step brainstorming to list down
all the ideas is the best option, before
the idea generation step. It is vital to
understand the causes of the problem
and prioritization of causes.
EVALUATION OF ALTERNATIVES
Use your judgment principles and
decision making criteria to evaluate
each alternative.
SELECT THE BEST ALTERNATIVES
Once you go through from step 1 and step 5 this
step is easy. In addition, the selection of the best
alternative is an informed decision since you have
already followed a methodology to derive and
select the best alternative
EXECUTE THE DECISIONS
Convert you decision into a plan or a
sequence of activities. Execute your
plan by yourself or with the help of
subordinates
EVALUATE THE RESULTS
Evaluate the outcome of your decision.
When weather there is anything you
should learn and then correct in future
decision making
