3. Definition
• Cloning is a reproductive technology to
produce new individual by vegetative
(asexual), so this new individual has property
equal to it`s host(parents).
4. Objective
• To Produce offspring which have superior
properties
• Can provide opportunities for sterile couples to
have offspring
5. PROCESS
1. Take the ovum cell that Induk B
will be use Induk A
2. Take out the nucleus
from ovum cell
3. Take the somatic cell
that will be use
4. Take out the nucleus
from somatic cell Sel telur A diambil inti Sel kelenjar susu B
5. Insert the nucleus of selnya diambil inti selnya
somatic cell into ovum
cell that doesn`t have
nucleus Inti sel kelenjar susu
6. Transplanting the new disuntikan ke sel telur
ovum cell in the A
fallopian tube, so it will
be fertilized and the
new ovum cell will be
growth until formed Inti sel kelenjar susu disuntikan
Domba yang

clone animal dilahirkan
6. Advantages
• In plants, cloning may provide a new plant in
large numbers, a relatively short time and have
characteristic which is identical to its parent.
• In animal cloning may provide offspring that
have superior properties owned by its parent.
• On human cloning is used for the manufacture
of IVF(bayi tabung).
7. Disadvantages
• In cloning plants, will reduce plant diversity.
• Affect the health of the individual clones.
• The reduced undesirable genetic trait.
