Tax Returns and facilitating assessment of Income under Income Tax Act
Budgeting / MIS
• Assessment of Budget Estimates given by different departments, making necessary
corrections, compilation and submission to Management for approval
• Determining budgeted figures, comparing them with the actual expenses on monthly
basis for assisting the management in the elimination of negative variance, if any
• Preparing MIS and numerous other statements to facilitate the process of strategic
decision making and compliance of the concession agreement with the National
Highway Authority of India.

• Ensuring compliance with the accounting standards issued by the ICAI and applicable
provisions of the companies act
• Verifying compliance with the TDS provisions under various statutes i.e. Income Tax,
Work Contract Tax, PF etc.
• verifying that the balances in the control accounts in the General Ledger are duly
reconciled with the sub ledgers
• verifying that the bank accounts and suppliers accounts etc. are reconciled regularly
• verifying that the Loans are properly classified between secured loans and unsecured
loans and the terms and conditions of the loans are being duly complied with

finalisation of Balance Sheet & P&L A/c as per the Accounting Standards,

SIGNIFICANT ACHIEVEMENTS
 Got cancellation of assessment order (demand Rs. 3.16 Crores) under BOCWW Cess
Act, 1996 of one of our SPV in Madhya Pradesh by filing appeal with the
Commissioner (Appeal), Labour Department, Govt. of Madhya Pradesh. Consequently
penalty proceedings were also dropped by the Addl. Commissioner, Labour
Department, Govt. of Madhya Pradesh.
 Got stay order from Allahabad High Court against demand of Rs. 40 lacs as Transit
Fee on movement of forest produce in the Uttar Pradesh by Forest Department,
Govt. of Uttar Pradesh against the company.
 I played key role in computerizing the accounting process at RVPN.
 My efforts in internal audit of accounts resulted in elimination of a number of Audit
qualifications relating to negative balances in accounts, interest on loans and
advances, reconciliation of inter division and inter circle balances, capitalisation of
fixed assets, depreciation etc.
