Education is a purposeful activity directed achieving certain aims, such as
transmitting knowledge or skills and character traits. These aims may include the
development of understanding, rationality, kindness and honesty. Today’s
educational goals increasingly encompasses new ideas such as the liberation of
learners, skills needed for mordern society, empathy, complex vocational skills.T It
helps us to develop critical skills like decisions, problem solving and logical
thinking.
3. The Education System generally refers to the structure of all
institution and the opportunities for obtaining education within a
country. It includes all pre-school institutions, starting from family
education through kindergarten, primary, secondary and tertiary
schools, the colleges and faculties also known Higher Education
(University Education). The framework also includes institutions of
continuous proffessional and personal education as well as private
educational institutions.
4. Early Education in India commenced under the supervision of a
guru or perceptor after intiation. The education was delivered through
Gurukula. The relationship between Guru and Sishya is like student and
discipline was very important part of the education. The ancient
education focused on imparting ethics like humility, truthfulness,
discipline, self- reliance and respecting all creations to the students.
Sometimes pujaris to the temples used to teach students.

Difficulties on choosing right stream for career.
The reason behind Indian education is questioned out.
The reason why money is getting powerfull rather than the education.
Due to lack of practicals in subjects, students are unable to understand.
7. DRAWBACKS OF INDIAN EDUCATION SYSTEM
• In India upto 85% of students where used to memorize the content in book and
used to write the same words in the exams.
• Only 18% of students where used to understand the concept of subject and can
able to answer in thier own words.
• The syllabus is the mostly in the form of theoretical basis, there is only few subjects
contains practical contents.
• Still in the 21st century in the modern world in India, not everyone has sufficient
need to access the schools and higher studies.
• There are still many single teacher schools in many villages.
8. PROBLEM WITH OUR INDIAN EDUCATION SYSTEM AS WELL AS INDIAN
SOCIETY. AN EXAMPLE:
9. IMPROVEMENT NEEDED IN INDIAN EDUCATION SYSTEM
• There is many changes should be made to improve the quality of our Indian
Education System.
• Indian government needs to invest large amount in order to develop the
infrastructure of schools and colleges.
• Methods of teaching needs more change, teachers should encourage the students
to think logically and to increases creativity in students.
• In India, the physical education has no primary importance with comparing to
other subjects, there is no proper syllabus and no regular periods are allocated for
physical education.
11. OBSERVATION
I will never say that Indian education is a poorest education system,
because I am too educated by the same education system. As an Indian I am
proud to say that India has the best teachers, coach, professors and lecturers.
But simultaneously if we compare our Indian studies to other country studies,
they have more responsibility to make the students as a sucessful learners. In
India the main bad point to be given out is comparing students with each other
and partiality between students going in Indian education is making students
feel more depressed and not interested towards higher education for their past
traumatic effect they had.
12. All students should know that memorizing syllabus is not enough to
know about the world, there is more than the syllabus which helps us to know
about life and world whick students should also have knowledge about it and
Indian education don’t teach us. The school syllabus should also include about
finance and banking, life lessons with other cultural activities which they
ignore it. These things which we ignore it but these are basic needed in life. So,
there should be a subjects which teaches us about life as well and helps
students afterwards from struggling with that basic things.
In short, more practical subjects are included, more interest shown
towards studies.
13. CONCLUSION
Nowdays, lot’s of positive changes are needed for the Indian Education
System. Indian government needs to invest large amount in order to develop
the infrastructure of schools and colleges. Methods of teaching needs more
changes, teachers should encourage students, rather than doing comparsion
and partiality. They need to think logical and increase creativity in students
not hatered them.
However, the Indian Education System has come a long
way and is slowly evolving to meet the needs of the modern world.
14. There is still needed a lot of work on it to be done in terms of increasing access to
quality education and provided better sources to students. Somehow, Modern
Education is known to be the best transformation of the Education System but
somewhere, they also need to develop them do better and sensibly.
Education is the key to success. It is backbone of nations. All
the development using this tool. Education is the most powerful weapon to
improve economic standardmof the nations. Education comes before the social
change. Therefore, education should bridge or fill the gap.
