1. Q.4: Who would be the audience for your media
product?
Target Audience
We need to know what kinds of people are interested in spy and thriller films
and we also need to think about age and gender. Stereotypically one
would think that males would be interested in our film as it has guns and
shooting in it, however females have developed an interest in thrillers and it
isn't a male genre anymore. We are aiming at the age range of 15 – 25 as
there are tricky parts to the movie during the court case scenes which would
need a little thinking to understand in the full movie.
Similar films
I believe “Safe House” is similar to our movie because in safe house there is a
young CIA agent who is looking for a fugitive but then his safe house is
attacked and he finds himself on the run. For “The Wrong Case” there is a
young lawyer who is fighting a court case of a serious criminal, she is then on
the run from a serial killer who is out to get her for winning the case against
their allies, therefore the story is based along the same lines.
