This document provides an agenda and schedule for an Academic Interactions class. It announces the groups for an activity and lists the agenda which includes announcements, stress, summarizing and paraphrasing. It also lists the schedule for the remainder of the semester which includes presentations, tests, and assignment due dates. Students are asked to sign up for presentation dates. Pronunciation practice on stress for two-syllable words is also included. The document concludes with instructions for a paraphrasing task and homework assignments.

8. Two-Syllable Words
• About 80% of two-syllable nouns and adjectives get their stress on
the first syllable.
• Two-syllable verbs and prepositions usually have stress on the
second syllable, but there are some exceptions to this.
