Dear Ms. Stone
In this letter, I want to communicate my desire to work at Avera Medical Center I would like to become a
nurse. Hopefully after you see my resume, you will see that I am qualified to be a Nurse at Avera Regional
Medical Center.
Student council has helped me improve on my people skills and high level of responsibility skills. Being
able to communicate with people, and to help them get the right treatment that is needed for them is a
very important part of being a nurse. Girl Scouts has also helped me be responsible, with orders and
making I get the correct amount of money, and making sure I give them the correct cookies. Girl Scouts
has also helped with being able to talk to people, and help the elderly either with laundry or helping them
walk.
Having Science, Math, and Psychology have helped me achieve my goal of being a nurse, also classes that
are needed for college. I am comfortable with the use of math and science, also with the use of
psychology. Being a life time quick learner and catch on is one of my strong suites. I am able to give
directions easily and coordinate schedule’s.
