I am interest in receive my bachelors of sciences in Family and consumer sciences. I did my own
research and that a counseling center in the HERC is somewhere I can see myself working. When I get
into my career I am wishing to talk to those who feel indifferent about themselves and depression.
Depression and cause an impact on families. When a family is depressed then that affects others
around such as communities, etc. This is called integration when everything adds up and affects those
around you.
The reason I know that family services is the correct field for me was because I have accomplished a
lot of things in life. The reason I accomplished so much was because I was always frightened to
complete, proper of higher authority always doubted me in going to college. Self-motivation and
control kept me focused. Being focused can lead you on the right path. Upward bout which is a college
ready program taught me how to be prompt, productive, prepared and to have progression. I never had
high test scores. I wanted to talk to those in need who has a story because we all have been through
some hardships. The best thing to do is to stay strong and motivated. Every time I complete anything in
my life I think about how I want to help my family. We all have goals that we would want to follow
and I believe helping families is mine. Helping families, re building relationships, and guidance are my
goals. Everyone has a story and it should be heard. I want to pursue my goal in many urban
communities who lack that person they need to talk to.
