St John's Ambulance Cadets
I am passionate about anything and everything to do with medicine and the healthcare industry. I have
beena memberof StJohn's Ambulance Cadetsforover1 yearand attendweeklytolearnthe theoretical
knowledgeandpractical skillsrequired togive firstaid. In2015, I wonthe 'Cadetof the Year' award inmy
branch and will be attending a weekend event in October with other 'Cadet of the Year' winners from
across the country. Ihave alsoassisted at1publiceventwithStJohn's Ambulanceandlovedgivingadvice
to the general public, and look forward to assisting with more in the future. I have also attended a
memorial parade forRemembrance dayandrepresented myCadetunit.
Dance
I love dancingand have beenattendingmylocal dance school for 12 years. Each week I take 4 classes in
Ballet, TapandJazz, and mostrecently have achieved aRADGrade 5 inBalletandIDTA Grade 3 inTap. As
well asthis, I performat a yearly eventinBishopthorpe andtake part inproductions every otheryearat
the Grand OperaHouse in York. From mydedication tomy dance lessons, myteacherhasalsoaskedme
to helpout inclassesfor youngerstudents, where Ilove havingthe opportunity toshare my knowledge
and make sure the youngerchildren are keepinginterested andmakingprogress.
