100% volunteer-run organization and near-zero waste free street festival. All
proceeds are donated back to the community through grants to local nonprofits.

Vendor Committee (2014 - present)
- Coordinate all vendors from start to finish
- Creating a vendor application, following up with all applicants, plotting booth spaces,
figuring out electrical needs, creating a logical flow for the festival grounds, day-of
check-ins and point person for vendors.
Communications Chair (2012 - present)
- Create our Facebook posts, Twitter and website content
- Draft press releases for all media outlets
- Create the RFP for grants and also write the grants / awards
BAY VIEW NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION
Volunteer organization that connects neighbors to create a better Bay View.

Chill on the Hill subcommittee organizer (2015 - present)
- Started a social media campaign around this event, including a new Facebook
page which garnished over 1000 likes in less than a week
- Created content calendar to create more opportunities for sponsors
- Responsible for starting “Family Week” which will feature kids / family events all week
leading up to National Night Out in conjunction with the local Police Department
- Started recycling initiative for 2016, includes future plans to expand into composting
Winter Blast committee organizer (2015 - present)
- Came up with a new theme for our yearly fundraiser which raised over $2500
for the Skate Spot Initiative in Humboldt Park
- Worked with over 60 local businesses for raffle items

- Sent out e-blasts to our membership for events, updates and important information
going on in their neighborhood
- Created an in-depth social media campaign for Facebook and introduced ads / boosted
our social presence by 25% by getting more members engaged with our page
