consultants are professional and personable with years of experience. Joyous
Moments is one of a kind and we strive to exceed our clients expectations. With every
consultation Joyous Moments wants to deliver a unique and memorable event that is
above and beyond our clients wildest dreams. Our team does this by listening to our
customers and turning their vision into reality. Our services include a free initial
consultation with our client and a selection of planning packages ranging from basic

Vision Statement
• Joyous Moments vision is to be the best wedding planning company in Georgia. We
strive to do this while staying true to our brand and our clientele. Planning and
executing the perfect wedding for our couples is important to us.
Outline of Products & Services
• We offer three packages the day-of wedding planning package, a mid level package, and our
highest level is the full service package. Each package includes a free consultation and
unlimited communication . Each package includes a main point of contact with a wedding
consultant that is in charge of working with that clients day.
Goals and Objectives
• Joyous Moments goals are broken down into short term and long term goals. Our short terms
goals are broken down into yearly goals. Each year we want to hit a number of successful
weddings planned. We strive for perfection and hope to continue to increase this number
each year. We want to increase numbers but don’t want the quality of service to diminish so
we have requirements we have established if we see this happening we will scale the
numbers back if we have to. Some of our long term goals as a wedding consulting company
in Atlanta Georgia we want to venture into a wider market. We hope to expand into other
surrounding territories and continue to develop more vendor relations along with other target
customers.

Marketing Plan
• Joyous Moments advertises in bridal publications and online resources for brides.
Online sources include the Knot.com, and Wedding Wire.com. We also plan to attend
one large bridal fair each season. Joyous Moments prides on being very active on
social media. We want to develop our brand on Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter, and
Instagram. We want to develop our strong brand by also creating a great reputation
with our previous brides and grooms. Our main source of new business is achieved
through referrals from our vendors and previous clients.
Personal Organization and Management/Operation Management
• Joyous Moments has a staff of five wedding planning consultation professionals. Our
owner Danielle Cross created Joyous Moments in 2008 and has a passion for this
business and oversees all of the business aspects of the company. Paige Schubert is
our business manager and oversees the financial portion of the company. Paige is
responsible for making sure the money is invested in the correct markets and also
works with vendor contracts for each wedding. The rest of our staff are trained
professional certified wedding consultants. Our main tool we use to plan our weddings
is EMC software. Each wedding planner are required to stay up to date with current
trends and we suggest each consultant continue to obtain any new certifications.

and have been inseparable
since.

Joyous Moment planners for breakfast to
discuss budget, theme, vision, venues, &
vendors.
• May 4th , Halle and Josh finalize guest list
and organize addresses.
• May 15th, Couple along with planner
Danielle tour three venues in Atlanta,
Georgia in price range. Couple decides on
Atlantic Botanic Gardens for reception and
ceremony.
• July 17th, Couple along with planner Paige
visit approved cater, ( approved by botanic
gardens) – A Divine Event, sample eats
and choose assortment of late night snacks
and sweets for reception.
• July 22nd , Halle & Lori along with planner
Becky visit Florist- Tulip Blooming
Creations and discuss pricing and ideas for
ceremony and reception. ( Tulips was the
florist used at Halle’s sisters wedding and
the owner is a family friend)
• September 12th, Halle & Josh decide on
DJ and book Atlanta DJ Online
• October 5th, Halle & Josh finalize
photographer Harper & Noel Photography
and book.
• Month of January 2015, Halle and Josh
purchase attire & accessories as well as
finalize bridal parties attire.
• January 5th, the room block was set up for
the out of town guests traveling in at the
hotel Atlanta Marriot Suites.
• January 12th, Save the Dates are sent out
for July 27,2015
• February 5th, Couple purchase wedding
rings and invitations are ordered.

10. Planning Timeline
• February 9th, the couple finalized their
plans for the Honeymoon & register for gifts
• February 11th, the couple works with Paige
and Danielle to complete the final planning
for the rehearsal dinner
• February 23rd, the couple attended to their
legal matters and updated the gift registry.
The couple continued to purchase the final
accessories after speaking with Kylie and
her recommendations what to do next.
They began the process of finalizing the
details of their moving arrangements.
• March 3rd, After a frantic call from Halle,
the team finalized every detail of the
rehearsal dinner to calm the brides nerves.
• March 8th, the couple meets with Kylie
and the photographer vendor to confirm
what kind of photos and poses the
couple wishes to have
• May 1st, the invitations are sent out with
hotel recommendations, directions, and
maps
• May 17th, the couple obtains their marriage
license
• May 19th, The florist plans are finalized at a
visit with Paige and Danielle present
• May 30th, Parking plans were figured out
with Becky and Halle after speaking with
concerned guests
• June 1st: Halle begins to get nervous &
excited at her hair and makeup trial run
after meeting with Becky to discuss the
seating arrangement plans. They sent off
the invitations to the Rehearsal dinner
• June 4th: the ceremony music was
selected and the couple met with Julia
and the officiate to finalize the plans for
the ceremony, along with the order of
the bridal parties entrance

11. Planning Timeline
• June 6th: Final wedding dress fitting!
Halle’s mother determined to Danielle that
she will be the only one taking care of the
dress after the wedding. She also is in
charge of the honeymoon itinerary in case
of emergency.
• June 18th: Halle and her sister begin to
record all gifts as they begin to be sent in
• June 20th: Paige lets the caters know the
final head count for the wedding day and
prepares the envelopes for vendor
payments when confirming times with them
• June 23rd 2015: Halle attends the salon for
her manicure and pedicure, Halle drops off
the gratuity and marriage license with
Paige for the efficient when finalizing the
seating chart
• June 25th: the planning teams send out the
detailed itinerary to all involved in the
wedding party while confirming the early
meeting times for all those involved
• June 26th (am): Josh and his mother pick
up the groomsmen attire early this morning
• June 26th (pm): The bridal party and
planning team meet to run through the
ceremony plans and answer questions
about the next day’s itinerary that is
handed out. The planning team drops off
the guest book, toasting goblets, cake
knife and other accessories.
• June 26th (pm): the couple and Bridal party
attend the rehearsal dinner!
• June 27th 2015: Wedding Day!!

17. Whimsical Charm
When creating a design concept for Halle and Josh’s wedding, we
wanted to work with fun, bright colors to create the whimsical charm they
were looking for. The chosen color palette was made up of bright yellow,
turquoise blue, hot pink, orange, and various shades in between. The
bright colors flow throughout the design concept, from the flower
arrangements, centerpieces, and the décor used for the wedding and the
reception.
The invitation shown in the mood board captured the whimsical
charm of the wedding, as well as the artistic and fun personality of the
couple. Rather than doing a traditional invitation, we went for one full of
bright colors and fun fonts. Throughout the planning process, we wanted to
keep the fun whimsical look going, so colored lanterns will be hung at the
ceremony, and the tables will be filled with centerpieces made up of a
variety of colored flowers and candles.
The couple’s wedding will be held in the evening, so rather than
serving a big dinner, we chose to serve little desserts and hor doeurves.
Their cake will be very similar to the one placed on the mood board, with a
very colorful, yet tasteful design. The guest will be able to enjoy all of the
food at the reception, as they mingle and dance, and enjoy fun
entertainment, like the photo booth.
