Advisor, corporate strategist and futures thinker, NickTurner has over 25 years’ experience offering
counsel to senior decision-makers at multi-national corporations and governments, helping make better
choices today for an uncertain tomorrow.
A product of SiliconValley andWall Street, Nick specialises in using scenario thinking, wargaming and
simulations to ensure that senior executives and their organisations develop robust, future-proofed
strategies and options. Nick has also helped corporate clients to better understand and manage key
strategic and operational risk and advised governments / public sector organisations on industrial and
economic policy development. Recent clients have included Bank of America, Barclays, BlackRock, BP,
Citigroup,CréditAgricole,Coutts, McLaren, Morgan Stanley, RBS andThomson Reuters.
A compelling speaker and world-class facilitator, Nick has shared his experience and expertise in a variety
of settings, both through customised executive development programmes in strategic thinking, scenario
development and mega-trends analysis, and as a guest lecturer at leading universities and business
schools, including London Business School (LBS) and INSEAD.
Previously, Nick served as a Managing Director at both Morgan Stanley and Nomura and as Co-President
of Global Business Network (GBN) / Senior Partner of Michael Porter’s Monitor Group.The initial part of
Nick’s career was spent in the high-technology industry, having held marketing and business
development roles at the Xerox Corporation and launching Palo Alto start-up,Visioneer.
Nick is a board member of the Mayor of London’s Enterprise Panel (LEP), chartered to develop an
integrated economic growth strategy for the city. Nick holds a BSc (Hons) in Management Science from
the University of Wales.
