I. OBJECTIVES
This communication plan aims to:
1) guide the key communicators of the limited face-to-face classes in developing and crafting messages and interventions to the concerned stakeholders and;
2) provide documentation and media management protocols; and
3) establish field coordination and crisis management protocol for possible scenarios of the continuation of the limited face-to-face classes.
II. STAKEHOLDER MAPPING
As long as the threat of COVID-19 exists, educational stakeholders face daunting challenges in the reintroduction of physical classes. Communication will play a big role
in establishing interventions to identify issues that may hamper the implementation of the limited face-to-face classes and its eventual expansion.
III. COMMUNICATION STRATEGIES
CONCERNED PERSON POSSIBLE COMMUNICATION INTERVENTION PERSON-IN-CHARGE
1) Students/Talisalites
 posting of signages in the common areas of the college
 conduct of orientation
 coordination with parents
 delegation of student’s health responsibilities (e.g. safety protocols)
SAS, SSC Maintenance Department, & CSU
2) Administrators, Teaching,
and Non-Teaching Staff
 exhibits and features the TCC’s best practices
 reinforcement of communication efforts
 availability of direct contact to LGU officials
Administrators, Deans, Coordinators,
Heads of Offices
3) Parents
 provision of direct contact numbers
 conduct of parent’s consultation & orientation
 features of stories of parent’s support to the implementation
SAS & Crisis Management Team
4) Community Members
 conduct of community-wide orientation
 features of stories of the community’s support to the
implementation
IV. COMMUNICATION MATERIALS
Traditional Materials Social Media Production
 printed materials on the FAQs of the
implementation of face-to-face classes
 guide on the step-by-step daily routine of
students
 handwashing procedures
 contact numbers, emergency hotlines
 infographics, informational videos, and boosted
content

 Reinforcement of the TV and radio ad that contains
information of the safe return to the school
(to be posted using the college’s TV and other
instructional materials)
V. COORDINATION
1) A Crisis Management Team composed of the administrators, health and safety officers, and coordinators must be established.
