2. Nestor Cables is a Finnish highly appreciated
cable manufacturer whose innovative solutions
are relied on by several global companies
around the world. The northern location, long-
reaching traditions and ability to innovate, are
the proof of the excellent quality of our products,
as well as our high ethics. We design each
product to withstand freezing temperatures,
heat and other extreme conditions.
In addition to an extremely strong market
position in Finland, Nestor’s main market areas
are Europe, Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, the
Baltic States, Sweden, Norway, the Balkans, USA,
Central America, the Middle East and East Africa.
Nestor Cables develops and manufactures optical and
copper telecommunication cables together with fiber
optic cable accessories. In addition also industrial
cables and various instrumentation cables, such as the
ones used in data centers and oil refineries, are part of
Nestor Cables’ product range.
Special and field cables,which are suitable for border
and access control, are also produced. Mobile optical
cable units by Nestor Cables can be used e.g. in
different kind of public events, like in exhibitions and
sports events.
Special solutions such as FTTA and FTTH are supplied
according to the customer’s needs. Nestor Cables’
novelty is a fibre optic cabling concept to windmills,
which includes all necessary products for various sizes
of windmill farms.
Nestor Cables is able to produce newly developed
flexible tube fibre optic cables which have a special
structure with many benefits compared to the
conventional cables.
In Finland our sales and marketing are located in Vantaa
and Oulu; in Russia in St. Petersburg and in Romania in
Bucharest.

Our operations began in 2007, but Nestor Cables’ expertise roots are from decades
ago, all the way up to Nokia Cables times. The personnel and naturally with them,
came all the knowledge and experience from the former Nokia Cables.

friendliness together with ability to react quickly and effectively to the ever

Our technology
Our factory in Oulu is one of the most modern cable factories in its size group
in Europe. The factory’s processes and equipment are designed for our
operations and products, which can be seen by our customers as cost
