Project & Portfolio I: Week 1
November 26, 2022
Hello my name is Nelson Emmons. I played a lot of
Day Z growing up on a lot of roleplay servers which
is where I found a love for marketing and trading.
After working retail for a little while and helping with
sales I found myself looking into marketing and am
now working on getting my degree in marketing. I
am a very passionate gamer and love to play RPG
games and sandbox strategy games. And when I
found out that Full sail would take me after
graduating high school and I talked to the admission
officer, and she told me about my current degree
program I found that marketing would be the best
place for me and is now my dream job. My goal
currently is to move into the marketing department
within the company I currently work for called Morale
Welfare and Recreation.

as I provide good critical thinking skills, I have
increased sales at my current job by 30% after
only being there 5 months. because not only has
my manager told me this but I have seen the
documentation to prove this as well.

Nelson Emmons
You know how people prefer to shop online instead of in stores now? Well,
what I do is I will try my hardest to offer customers a pleasurable experience
where they feel like they walked away not only with the product they want
but with the knowledge of it as well. In fact, I increased sells at my current
job by 50% in range card sells as well as I gave my customers the
knowledge of our products and even made them laugh while doing it!
