Projects
cDNA Image Processing using FPGA
Worked on novel hardware architecture that is specifically designed to analyze DNA microarray (cDNA)
images based on a field-programmable-gate-array (FPGA). The effectiveness of the novel architecture is
demonstrated by the analysis performed on DNA microarray images, showing that the capability of detecting
DNA spots increases by more than the 30% with respect to that of previously developed software techniques.
Accident Prevention System using Arm7 with GPS
This project is about making cars more intelligent and interactive by notifying the user of unacceptable
conditions. The purpose of this system is to detect fatigue symptoms in driver and control speed of vehicle to
avoid accidents. The main components are fuel, impact sensor and software interface with GPS.LPC2148
based on ARM7TDMI is used due to its small size and low power consumption.
