1. Dear Mrs. Clarkin and Mr. Boehle ,
My family celebrates Christmas. My dad puts on a video camera in the morning. I
get lots of presents. I stay up late on Christmas Eve. My parents host Christmas Eve
at our house. At our Christmas Eve dinner we have good things to eat. My favorite is
garlic knots and chicken francaise. Both my mom’s side and dad’s side of the family come
over to our house. With all of the kids and adults it is about 50 people. My family and
I play, talk, open presents and have fun. Santa Clause comes to my house every year and
gives the kids gifts. I go to sleep after everyone leaves!
I always leave cookies and milk out for Santa. I leave oats on the front lawn for the
reindeer. I wake up on Christmas morning, open my presents, eat a huge breakfast and go
to my Aunt Lisa’s house. In the afternoon, we usually leave to go on vacation down
south. I hope your holiday is as fun as mine.
