2. Concept
Organizational behavior is a field of study that
investigates the impact that individuals, groups and
structure have on behaviour within organization.
It is the study and application of knowledge about
how people act within the organization.

1. Autocratic Model

3. Supportive Model
4. Collegial Model
5. System Model
4. Autocratic model
The root level of this model is power with a
managerial orientation of authority.
For example- Senior has an authority and ability
to control their subordinates but on the other side
subordinate’s performance will be much lower than
expected performance.
5. Features of autocratic model
Depend on power.
Managerial orientation is authority.
Employee orientation is obedience.
Employee psychological result depends on boss.
Employee needs met is subsistence.
Performance result is minimum.
6. Custodial Model
The root level of this model is economic resources with a managerial orientatio
of money. The employees in this model are oriented towards security an
benefits provided to them.
7. Features of custodial model

. Employee orientation is security and benefit
. Performance result is passive cooperation
. Employee psychological result depend on organization
. Employee needs et is at very minimum level
8. Supportive Model
The root level of this model is leadership with a managerial orientation of
support. The employees in this model are oriented towards their job
performance and participation.
9. Features of supportive model
. Depends on leadership
. Managerial orientation is support

10. Collegial Model
The root level of this model is partnership with a managerial orientation of
teamwork. The employees in this model are oriented towards responsible
behavior and self-discipline.
11. Features of collegial model
. Depend on partnership
. Managerial orientation is teamwork
. Employee orientation is responsible behaviours
. Performance result is moderate exthausiasm
. Employee needs met is self actulisation
12. System model
The intent of the system model is to try and balance the goals of the
individual with the goals of the organization.
13. Features of system model
. Depend on trust, community and understanding
. Managerial orientation is psychological ownership
. Performance result is passion commitment towards organization goals
. Employees psychological results is self motivation
