• The map shows the expansion of the Incas on a
huge territory at the cost of its neighbours
(battles).
• It also shows the route taken by Pizzaro shortly
before the empire collapsed.
• How come such a great empire has collapsed so

Hello and welcome to this video tutorial brought to you by Mr Bento’s Tuts
In this video, I will demonstrate « How To analyse a historical map ». This is the first How To we will study in my History class.
I will briefly explain what are historical maps and why they are useful. I intend to explain in more details how we can use them to collect information on the a studied matter.
Maps are a simplified and conventional graphic representation (generally plane) of a part or the totality of the world. Maps are often used in history because any event takes place in an area. They are very useful to visualise where events took place, who were the actors, what were the movements, seeing an evolution, and many more information!
