Good Afternoon everyone, My name is Natalie Walker and I will be sharing with just a piece of my amazing summer with the Enterprise Sourcing & Procurement Team here at Cox!
Meet the sourcing team!
This slide may look familiar to some of you. As Cox enters into a new era of growth and investment under the FutureFocus: 2034 plan, there will be significant changes to likely include BULLETS^^. I along with the team this summer focused on ways to strategically manage the growth and changes for the Sourcing teams to work more collaboratively, efficiently and to align our services with best practice techniques.
My project scope was to design and implement both an internally facing supply chain team site and an externally facing collaboration site for our stakeholders. This chart here refers to stakeholder feedback as the top ways that our team could add value to in the way we do business. I have highlight here a few that really stuck out to me although all very relevant drivers for my project here.
This is an image of our 7 step sourcing model, I helped to build a deck for each step in our process to be published on our supply chain collaboration sites that I built this summer. I also engaged in and observed a project, demo, planning session, (you know whatever it was) in each step of the process. My favorite part of the process is engaging in the vendor demos for STEP 5 “Evaluate & Negotiate” I was really able to see all the hard-work from the conversations with the stakeholders, market research, Requirements planning sessions come to life here.
This is an infographic, which is just a simple clean, really cool way to present information. Something like this would be really beneficial for our new policy roadshows that we’ll be conducting pretty soon here. A quick handout for people to learn and know more about our Supply Chain and Sourcing Services.
Design work, wire frame, programs --- of what to include on the site.
Objective:
Supply chain is all about improving efficiency and eliminating waste. So the objective here was to do that be creating a more streamlined intake and internal documentation holding procedures.
Many times a users experience is based on the process, if you are trying to return something you bought online and the process is a hassle you probably won’t buy from them again. Same thing applies here, If its super hard to get a hold of or not clear on how to engage our SC services then stakeholders will find other ways to get what they need. When indeed what we do is leverage our
With this project what was super important for me to do for the team here was >>>
A lot of what I did here was design work, created a wire frame to visualize for the team different options
