The document summarizes challenges with internet access at the Shelburne Museum including a slow network, old computers and infrastructure, bandwidth and email limits, blocked sites and apps, and restrictive policies. To address these issues, the museum allocated resources to purchase a new customizable firewall, new transceivers, and remove bandwidth limits while allowing social networking on sanctioned accounts. These changes have led to less grumbling, higher productivity, and continued planning to further update their infrastructure and policies.
