46 developing nations, including 19 least developed countries, have completed multi-sector NAPs and submitted them to the UNFCCC’s NAP Central portal, the first ones having done so in 2015 (UNFCCC & NAP Central, n.d.).
Since 2017, over 60% of countries with adopted NAPs are not actively tracking their implementation (Leiter, 2021)
65% of developing countries have committed to reporting progress on their NAP (NAP Global Network, n.d.)
