2. The Standard Of Truth Should Be Established

‫اَّلل‬ ُ‫م‬ُ‫ك‬ُ‫د‬ِ‫ع‬َ‫ي‬ ‫ذ‬ِ‫إ‬َ‫و‬
‫ه‬‫ن‬َ‫أ‬ َ‫ّون‬‫د‬َ‫و‬َ‫ت‬َ‫و‬ ‫ُم‬‫ك‬َ‫ل‬ ‫ها‬‫ه‬‫ن‬َ‫أ‬

‫اَّلل‬

And (remember) when Allah promised you (Muslims) one of the two parties
(of the enemy i.e. either the army or the caravan) that it should be yours, you
wished that the one not armed (the caravan) should be yours, but Allah willed
to justify the truth b:y His Words and to cut off the roots of the disbelievers
(i.e. in the battle of Badr). (08:07)

‫اَّلل‬ ِ‫ل‬‫بي‬َ‫س‬ ‫في‬

‫اَّلل‬ َ‫و‬ ۚ ِ‫ين‬َ‫ع‬‫ال‬ َ‫أي‬َ‫ر‬
ۗ ُ‫ء‬‫شا‬َ‫ي‬ ‫ن‬َ‫م‬ ِ‫ه‬ ِ
‫َصر‬‫ن‬ِ‫ب‬
ِ‫ل‬‫و‬ُ ِ
‫ِل‬ ً‫ة‬َ‫بر‬ِ‫ع‬َ‫ل‬ َ‫ك‬ِ‫ل‬ٰ‫ذ‬ ‫في‬ ‫ه‬‫ن‬ِ‫إ‬

‫بصار‬َ‫ِل‬‫ا‬ ‫ي‬
There has already been a sign for you (O Jews) in the two
armies that met (in combat i.e. the battle of Badr): One was
fighting in the Cause of Allah, and as for the other (they)
were disbelievers. They (the believers) saw them (the
disbelievers) with their own eyes twice their number
(although they were thrice their number). And Allah supports
with His Victory whom He pleases. Verily, in this is a lesson
for those who understand. (See Verse 8:44). (Tafsir At-

4. The Assistance Of Allah: A Message Of Hope
َ‫ل‬ َ‫جاب‬َ‫ت‬‫اس‬َ‫ف‬ ‫م‬ُ‫ك‬‫ه‬‫ب‬َ‫ر‬ َ‫غيثون‬َ‫ت‬‫س‬َ‫ت‬ ‫ذ‬ِ‫إ‬
‫لف‬َ‫أ‬ِ‫ب‬ ‫م‬ُ‫ك‬ُّ‫د‬ِ‫م‬ُ‫م‬ ‫ي‬‫ن‬َ‫أ‬ ‫م‬ُ‫ك‬
َ‫فين‬ِ‫د‬‫ر‬ُ‫م‬ ِ‫ة‬َ‫ك‬ِ‫ئ‬‫ال‬َ‫م‬‫ال‬ َ‫ن‬ِ‫م‬
(Remember) when you sought help of your Lord and
He answered you (saying): “I will help you with a
thousand of the angels each behind the other (following
one another) in succession.” (08:09)

ً‫ة‬َ‫ن‬َ‫م‬َ‫أ‬

ُ‫ل‬ ِ
‫َز‬‫ن‬ُ‫ي‬
‫م‬ُ‫ك‬‫ي‬َ‫ل‬َ‫ع‬

ِ‫ماء‬‫ه‬‫س‬‫ال‬
‫ما‬
ً‫ء‬

‫لى‬َ‫ع‬
ِ‫ب‬‫لو‬ُ‫ق‬
‫م‬ُ‫ك‬
ِ‫ب‬َ‫ث‬ُ‫ي‬ َ‫و‬
َ‫ت‬
ِ‫ه‬ِ‫ب‬
َ‫قدام‬َ‫ِل‬‫ا‬
(Remember) when He covered
you with a slumber as a
security from Him, and He
caused water (rain) to
descend on you from the sky,
to clean you thereby and to
remove from you
the Rijz (whispering, evil-
suggestions, etc.)
of Shaitan (Satan), and to
strengthen your hearts, and
make your feet firm thereby.

6. ‫م‬ُ‫ك‬‫ه‬‫ل‬َ‫ع‬َ‫ل‬ َ ‫ه‬
‫اَّلل‬ ‫وا‬ُ‫ق‬‫ه‬‫ت‬‫ا‬َ‫ف‬ ۖ ٌ‫ة‬‫ه‬‫ل‬ِ‫ذ‬َ‫أ‬ ‫م‬ُ‫ت‬‫ن‬َ‫أ‬ َ‫و‬ ‫در‬َ‫ب‬ِ‫ب‬ ُ ‫ه‬
‫اَّلل‬ ُ‫م‬ُ‫ك‬َ‫ر‬َ‫ص‬َ‫ن‬ ‫د‬َ‫ق‬َ‫ل‬ َ‫و‬
َ‫رون‬ُ‫ك‬‫ش‬َ‫ت‬
And Allah has already made you victorious at Badr, when you
were a weak little force. So fear Allah much [abstain from all
kinds of sins and evil deeds which He has forbidden and love
Allah much, perform all kinds of good deeds which He has
ordained] that you may be grateful. (03:123)

7. A Handful of Dust At The
Enemy
َ‫و‬ ۚ ‫م‬ُ‫ه‬َ‫ل‬َ‫ت‬َ‫ق‬ َ ‫ه‬
‫اَّلل‬ ‫ه‬‫ن‬ِ‫ك‬ٰ‫ل‬ َ‫و‬ ‫م‬ُ‫ه‬‫لو‬ُ‫ت‬‫ق‬َ‫ت‬ ‫م‬َ‫ل‬َ‫ف‬
َ ‫ه‬
‫اَّلل‬ ‫ه‬‫ن‬ِ‫ك‬ٰ‫ل‬ َ‫و‬ َ‫يت‬َ‫م‬َ‫ر‬ ‫ذ‬ِ‫إ‬ َ‫يت‬َ‫م‬َ‫ر‬ ‫ما‬
ٰ
‫مى‬َ‫ر‬
You killed them not, but Allah killed them. And you (Muhammad) threw
not when you did throw but Allah threw (08:17)

8. When Ye Meet A Force, Be Firm
َ‫م‬‫آ‬ َ‫ذين‬‫ه‬‫ل‬‫ا‬ ‫ا‬َ‫ه‬ُّ‫ي‬َ‫أ‬ ‫يا‬
ُ‫ت‬‫قي‬َ‫ل‬ ‫ذا‬ِ‫إ‬ ‫نوا‬
‫م‬
‫ا‬َ‫و‬ ‫توا‬ُ‫ب‬‫اث‬َ‫ف‬ ً‫ة‬َ‫ئ‬ِ‫ف‬
َ ‫ه‬
‫اَّلل‬ ‫وا‬ُ‫ر‬ُ‫ك‬‫ذ‬
ُ‫ت‬ ‫م‬ُ‫ك‬‫ه‬‫ل‬َ‫ع‬َ‫ل‬ ‫ا‬ً‫ثير‬َ‫ك‬
َ‫حون‬ِ‫ل‬‫ف‬
O you who believe! When you
meet (an enemy) force, take a
firm stand against them and
remember the Name of Allah
much (both with tongue and
mind), so that you may be
successful. (08:45)

9. And obey Allah and His
Messenger, and do not dispute
(with one another) lest you lose
courage and your strength
depart and be patient. Surely,
Allah is with those who are As-
Sabirin (the patient ones, etc.).
