Grains-
a turkey club sandwich: whole wheat bread, roast turkey, lettuce, swiss cheese, and
turkey bacon (main meal). A club sandwich is a good meal because includes many
vitamins and grains.
Fruits-
A fruit salad: strawberries, watermelon, mandarin oranges, and pineapple
An all natural fruit smoothie (drink) - strawberry banana
Fruits are important because it has sources of vitamins and carbohydrates
Vegetables-
A Caesar salad with dressing on the side. Vegetables give you a lot of vitamins,
minerals, and carbohydrates. By the dressing being on the side, you don’t put as much
on your salad.
Meats and beans-
The turkey from the club gives you a good portion of meat. Meat has sources of
protein, iron, zinc, and B vitamins.
