just let us know AT LEAST one day beforehand**
You may come in with your teacher to use
the IMC, or you may come in to use the IMC
with a note from your teacher
Students who are excused from
P.E. must have a note from the
nurse or P.E. teacher.
You must also sign in at the front
desk if you come without your
teacher.
3. You may check out one book for two
weeks at a time. You may also
renew your books if you need more
time.
It’s not necessary to bring your books
to the library to renew them –
just tell us you want to renew, or
you can renew them online

5. 10 cents per day
If you have an overdue item, you cannot
check out another book until that fine is
paid.
If you have a book that is overdue but
can’t pay the fine, drop off the book
anyway. That way, the fine stops
accumulating. You can pay the fine
later. Otherwise, the fine will keep
getting larger.
6. An alarm will sound
someone tries to take a book
or magazine from the library
without
checking
it out.
7. Use the book drop. We have two:
one is outside the doors, and one
is just inside the IMC.

8. You may use the IMC computers for school
work, as long as they are not reserved by a
teacher for his or her class to use.
You must show Ms Evans or Mrs. McD what
you will be working on (your assignment or
paperwork) in order to get permission to
use a computer.
9. Many teachers and students use our IMC.

If you do not want a book after taking it off
the shelf, leave it on the cart in that area.
12. You can search for books, put books on hold, renew books
and make a wish list by logging in to the media
center from any
location. We even

smartphone.

13. You can see what you have
checked out, renew a book, put
a book on hold, create a list of
books to read later, submit book
reviews, and share the list with
others.

up for book
search, or you
can log in from
any school
computer to
search.
Let us know if you want a book or you like an author and
we do not have those books in the library. We’ll add this
to our wish list for future book orders!
15. You must return a signed form
from a parent or guardian that
you will be take care of the Nook.
We will also contact the
teacher(s) you had last year.
Students with behavior problems
or responsibility “issues” will not
be eligible for the Nook program
until we receive a positive report
from their teacher(s).
