objectives
STARTING UP - Accelerators Of Entrepreneurship 4
Inclusion
O1- To design a flexible and adapted model of teaching and learning activities using
mostly non-formal methodologies with concerns regarding gender and ethics issues.
This must have multidisciplinary didactic and educational resources capable of reinforcing
or developing soft skills and fostering equity in work contexts.
O2- To enhance young people with disabilities and their tutors skills according to the
priorities set out for youth and in order to answer to the needs of the working contexts
of the digital society.
O3- To develop practices in the context of "real" work that meet the challenges of
innovation and respect the basic principles of data protection, open source and security.
O4- To evaluate the process of learning development and its adaptation to the work
environment considering the sustainability of the model tested within this project and its
evolution and transferability to other countries.
O5- To share the good practices among our countries and with others. Building and
disseminating them in the political, societal, technological and economic fields, thus
contributing to the change of mentalities.

Output title: Development of an Entrepreneurship training course for mentors and pupils.
Start date: 01-06-2019
End date: 26-01-2020
Leading Organisation: NERSANT – Associação Empresarial da Região de Santarém
In order to address the needs expressed in this project, the first Intellectual Output will be the
development of an Entrepreneurship Training Course for Mentors and Pupils with a
Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) approach.
It will be developed according to the needs of pupils with intellectual and developmental
difficulties (IDD).
To be able to create a strong and sustainable course we need:
⏷to identify and create tools for mentors that work with this population;
⏷to develop interactive and visual contents in order to increase students’ motivation;
⏷to understand the needs of the labour market were our participants can take an important
role;
⏷to develop contents that help strengthening labour skills, both for employment and self-
employment.
We’ll assess the skills with a European Commission tool called “EntreComp: The
Entrepreneurship Competence Framework”. This course will be developed in an Innovative and
Enhanced way, using various multimedia content (text, images, audio and/or video) using the
best practices of accessibility and usability (e.g. HTML5). By using a MOOC approach we’ll
hope it ensures an easier way for students to access and use, but also increases the
transferability of the contents.
CALL FOR ABSTRACTS! 14th INTED conference. 2-4 March, 2020
Valencia, Spain
Output title: Pedagogical and didactical guidelines
Start date: 26-11-2019
End date: 26-03-2020
Leading Organisation: Hrvatska zajednica za Down sindrom
After creating the training contents (see IO1), the partnership will develop
pedagogical and didactical methodologies and guidelines to assist the staff who
work with Intellectual and developmental difficulties pupils.
In order to create this Output we need:
⏷to identify and distinguish the major disabilities affecting people with IDD
⏷to understand special needs in education and training;
⏷to identify the needs of students;
⏷develop pedagogical guidelines both for self-training and assisted training (with
help of mentors).
This output will result in a handbook that will include a contextualization of these
pupils’ characteristics and needs, and guidelines to assist their training.
This will ensure a greater awareness from stakeholders and mentors working with
special needs students and a way to better address their needs.
Pedagogical and didactical guidelines
Output title: Job Platform Network (Matching platform)
Start date: 28-02-2020
End date: 29-01-2021
Leading Organisation: CSI Center for Social Innovation LTD
For this intellectual output a technological platform will be developed. This online
platform intends to be a networking space where both the employers (enterprises)
and the youth can interact in a more personalized way. The enterprises can share
their offers on jobs or internships, and the students can create their profile including
their CV and e-portfolio.
We hope that in could work as a Matching Platform where both the needs of the
enterprises and the youth are fulfilled.
This platform will also include information about Programmes and funding for self-
employment and business creation.
The platform will also be used for the online training (see IO1, IO2, C1 and C2) by
integrating tools and widgets to enhance the learning experience on-line.
Output title: E-portfolios and VideoPaths
Start date: 28-04-2020
End date: 27-04-2021
Leading Organisation: Instituto Politécnico de Santarém
This intellectual output will result in a collection of e-portfolios and VideoPaths
created by the IDD learners involved in the project (assisted by Teachers, Researchers
and Youth Workers).
These materials will be made during the various activities of the project (e.g. the
educational contents learned, the workshops where they took part, their hobbies and
likes, as well as their vision of labour market, where they plan to work and what they
can bring to society).

Project objectives STARTING UP - Accelerators Of Entrepreneurship 4 Inclusion O1- To design a flexible and adapted model of teaching and learning activities using mostly non-formal methodologies with concerns regarding gender and ethics issues. This must have multidisciplinary didactic and educational resources capable of reinforcing or developing soft skills and fostering equity in work contexts. O2- To enhance young people with disabilities and their tutors skills according to the priorities set out for youth and in order to answer to the needs of the working contexts of the digital society. O3- To develop practices in the context of "real" work that meet the challenges of innovation and respect the basic principles of data protection, open source and security. O4- To evaluate the process of learning development and its adaptation to the work environment considering the sustainability of the model tested within this project and its evolution and transferability to other countries. O5- To share the good practices among our countries and with others. Building and disseminating them in the political, societal, technological and economic fields, thus contributing to the change of mentalities. IPSantarém INSTITUTO POLITÉCNICO DE SANTARÉM

  • 38. Output title: Development of an Entrepreneurship training course for mentors and pupils. Start date: 01-06-2019 End date: 26-01-2020 Leading Organisation: NERSANT – Associação Empresarial da Região de Santarém In order to address the needs expressed in this project, the first Intellectual Output will be the development of an Entrepreneurship Training Course for Mentors and Pupils with a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) approach. It will be developed according to the needs of pupils with intellectual and developmental difficulties (IDD). To be able to create a strong and sustainable course we need: ⏷to identify and create tools for mentors that work with this population; ⏷to develop interactive and visual contents in order to increase students’ motivation; ⏷to understand the needs of the labour market were our participants can take an important role; ⏷to develop contents that help strengthening labour skills, both for employment and self- employment. We’ll assess the skills with a European Commission tool called “EntreComp: The Entrepreneurship Competence Framework”. This course will be developed in an Innovative and Enhanced way, using various multimedia content (text, images, audio and/or video) using the best practices of accessibility and usability (e.g. HTML5). By using a MOOC approach we’ll hope it ensures an easier way for students to access and use, but also increases the transferability of the contents.
  • 39. CALL FOR ABSTRACTS! 14th INTED conference. 2-4 March, 2020 Valencia, Spain
  • 40. Output title: Pedagogical and didactical guidelines Start date: 26-11-2019 End date: 26-03-2020 Leading Organisation: Hrvatska zajednica za Down sindrom After creating the training contents (see IO1), the partnership will develop pedagogical and didactical methodologies and guidelines to assist the staff who work with Intellectual and developmental difficulties pupils. In order to create this Output we need: ⏷to identify and distinguish the major disabilities affecting people with IDD ⏷to understand special needs in education and training; ⏷to identify the needs of students; ⏷develop pedagogical guidelines both for self-training and assisted training (with help of mentors). This output will result in a handbook that will include a contextualization of these pupils’ characteristics and needs, and guidelines to assist their training. This will ensure a greater awareness from stakeholders and mentors working with special needs students and a way to better address their needs.
  • 42. Output title: Job Platform Network (Matching platform) Start date: 28-02-2020 End date: 29-01-2021 Leading Organisation: CSI Center for Social Innovation LTD For this intellectual output a technological platform will be developed. This online platform intends to be a networking space where both the employers (enterprises) and the youth can interact in a more personalized way. The enterprises can share their offers on jobs or internships, and the students can create their profile including their CV and e-portfolio. We hope that in could work as a Matching Platform where both the needs of the enterprises and the youth are fulfilled. This platform will also include information about Programmes and funding for self- employment and business creation. The platform will also be used for the online training (see IO1, IO2, C1 and C2) by integrating tools and widgets to enhance the learning experience on-line.
