UPLOAD JOBS for Mindanao is a partnership project
that aims to sustainably improve the livelihood and
increase incomes of Central Mindanao’s community
and out-of-school youth through extension programs
in agricultural entrepreneurship.

innovative ways, building social networks and mobile

The Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE)
strengthens democracy around the globe through private
enterprise and market-oriented reform.
Panoply Digital provided a qualitative tool for determining
the technological capacity of CIPE’s partner members,
provided recommendations for increasing capacity, design
a training curricula around these recommendations, and
executed training sessions at three partner sites.

Lauren is a mobile for development specialist, focusing on research and
development and stakeholder partnership management, having worked
within the international development community, governments, non-
government organisations, and telecommunications industry to roll out
multiple projects.
She has extensive experience in quantitative and qualitative research,
and has successfully implemented methodologies in Bangladesh,
Ghana, Indonesia, Spain, Uganda and India. Lauren has produced
multiple professional reports, publications and thought pieces in the field
of mobile learning and mobile for youth development and employment,
including one of the earliest commercial perspectives from the mobile
industry on 'mLearning' and 'Mobile for Youth Employment'.
She has managed large-scale projects, team, budgets and accounts
throughout her career.

Michael specialises in mobile learning in higher education with expertise
that falls into several categories. He has extensive experience with
course design, MOOCs, open learning development, ICT4D/M4D
projects, mobile and elearning development and analysis.
He was the education manager and social media lead for ITHAKA, a
large non-profit organisation, and a former communications, and
competitive intelligence manager with experience in learning analytics.
He publishes often, including a recent book on mobile learning for
humanities instruction. He has years of experience with multinational
teams and has worked across Africa, Asia, Europe, and throughout
North America.
He has consulted for non-profit organisations, universities and
businesses. He currently resides with his wife in Seoul, Korea, but also
calls New York home.

Alexandra is a mobile for development specialist, focusing on gender
issues in ICT4D, especially mobile learning. She has experience in both
the commercial and the non-profit sectors. She has experience in
quantitative and qualitative research methods, as well as monitoring and
evaluation frameworks for measuring both commercial and social impact
for low-tech mobile solutions in resource-poor contexts.
Alex is also a mobile learning content developer and works mostly with
IVR and SMS platforms for self-directed learning contexts. Alex has
worked all over the world in ICT4D, and has extensive field experience in
Asia, Africa, the Middle East and Central America. This includes several
years in Bangladesh working mostly on projects using ICTs and mobile
platforms to help reduce the gender digital divide.

Ronda is a mobile technologist, educator, and researcher who has lived in
Africa, Asia, North America and Europe, with travel to nearly 50 countries.
Ronda is internationally recognized as the foremost expert on gender and
mobile learning.
Her professional experience spans both the public and private sectors,
with specialization in educational technology (especially mobile learning),
gender, teaching and training, and policy advice. Additionally, she has
provided market insight and analysis as well as project implementation
leadership for a wide range of stakeholders including mobile network
operators, governments, and international NGOs.
Ronda has extensive experience in conducting qualitative and quantitative
research with children and youth, has created mobile and PC-based
training platforms and content for teachers in East Africa, and has
conducted a number of education program evaluations in Africa and Asia.
