Green Jobs/Green NY is a statewide initiative established
by the NYS Legislature in 2009 to:

Create green job opportunities, including for emerging, unemployed and displaced
workforce

Incentives based on Area Median Income (AMI)
• 10% Cash Back for eligible high energy
efficiency measures
• ≤ 80% AMI Households: NYSERDA pays 50%
of the cost of eligible measures up to $5,000
for single-family homes or $10,000 for 2-4
family homes
• ≤ 60% SMI Households: EmPower New YorkSM
delivers energy savings at no cost
