technologies and platforms which have risen during
the past few years and have shown immense growth.
o While each of these four components have been
evolving individually companies are beginning to treat
them as an integrated whole

o SMAC challenges enterprises to take advantage of
the positive disruptions it portents, while they
operate at the rapid pace of innovations and changes
in demand.
o Indian IT companies can play a huge role in helping
organizations around the world adopt these
technologies and help them to transform their
business models

o Social, mobility, analytics and cloud are reshaping
businesses, consumers and all traditional approaches
the Indian industry has seen till now.
o Indian players therefore need to act quickly in the
near future to develop relevant IP and build
significant scale to capture market share over the
next 5-8 years will tend to focus on SMAC
technologies.

 The subject of Social, Mobile, Analytics, and Cloud
(SMAC) has been dominating debates across the
world over the last 2 years. When we look at (My
country ) India, the time seems ripe for SMAC to
finally move from being a hotly contested topic to a
business reality.
 SMAC is about the integrated play of social, mobile,
analytic and cloud technologies in supporting new
business.

 SOCIAL links people to their friends work and each other in
new and unexpected ways. such as Face book, You Tube,
Twitter.
 MOBILE devices are a platform for effective social
networking and new ways to work, such as leveraging
mobile technologies.
 ANALYTICS helps gain meaningful insights from the
information facilitating informed decision making, such Big
Data presents opportunities for analytics.
 CLOUD enables delivers of information and functionality to
users and systems

 Business Analytics and Cloud Computing are
interesting topics that I have chosen, converges on
these technologies means dismantling he traditional
business design and no longer is it required o keep
people and information in the same location.
 I think It is real opportunity to develop innovative
solutions that ultimately lead to leavening public IT,
lowering cost of innovative applications, improving
capabilities and increase their reach to customers.
