Artist Biography
Artist Statement
As a storyboard artist, my goal is to create narratives that captivate audiences, particularly
those in their teenage and young adult years. Drawing on experiences with my neurodiver-
gence, I strive to channel my energy and creativity into unique and compelling storytelling. My
challenging upbringing and my family’s unwavering support ignited my passion for pursuing
a career in the animation industry. One Piece and Naruto’s storytelling are particularly influen-
tial, as they excel in developing characters and demonstrating their growth through challenges.
In terms of character design, I am influenced by the works of Studio Ghibli, the visual direction
of the English virtual band Gorillaz, and shows like OK KO.

Dear Titmouse,
I am writing this letter to express my extreme excitement at the opportunity to apply for this Artistic
Internship position.
Even in highschool, shows like China IL, Rick and Morty and Midnight Gospel have astounded me
and have changed my life for the better and have inspired me to want to do the same.
I am now writing this as a senior in his final year of school at the University of Central Florida:
School of Visual Arts & Design, where I chose to study under their Experimental Animation track.
I am eager to have it come full circle, be able to be the one writing this, and have the chance to
work for one of the companies driving the next generation of animators and storytellers. Through-
out my time at UCF, I have had many experiences where I was able to work with amazing talent,
be it professors or my peers, and I for one can say that my skill and artistic abilities have advanced
because of it.
During my thesis animation project, I had the opportunity to pitch my idea and receive constructive
feedback from my professors and peers. I learned to put my emotions aside and focus on the story
I was telling, which helped me deliver a quality final project. Additionally, I completed the project
milestones on time, demonstrating my ability to manage deadlines and deliverables.
In terms of my technical skills, I have experiences in both 2D and 3D animation. I have also
worked collaboratively in group setting and am currently in a group production of a short, where I
contributed to the story development and storyboarding process. I am adaptable to deadlines and
comfortable presenting my work to a group. I am confident that I have demonstrated perseverance
and determination in my academic pursuits. While I did not pass the studio portfolio for my in-
tended major, I took two intensive courses that tested my drawing and design abilities. I completed
those courses and proved to the university that I was committed to achieving my grade.
With all that being said, I would be humbled at the chance to work for one of the most innovative
and boundary pushing animation companies, where I know I could help deliver unique and mem-
orable experiences, just as you have done for me in the past.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Best regards,
