5. INTRODUCTION
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the branch of computer science
which deals with intelligence of machines where an intelligent
agent is a system that takes actions which maximize its chances
of success.

6. What's involved in Artificial
Intelligence ?
• Ability to interact with the world (speech, vision,
motion, manipulation)
• Ability to model the world and to reason about it
• Ability to learn and to adapt

7. Artificial intelligence (AI) is arguably
the most exciting field in robotics. It's
certainly the most controversial:
Everybody agrees that a robot can
work in an assembly line, but there's
no consensus on whether a robot can
ever be intelligent.

analysis.
• I assumed a sort of status quo among humans, one in which our
future selves and descendants have opted out of enhancement
technologies.
• We take the trans human path to the future, our technologically
