Pillar of a milestone TV show: ACP ARJUN
Starting from 6th May 2006 to November 2103, Shakeel was the key member of prime crime
show ACP ARJUN, which was an excellent example of his hard work, dedication and
programming capabilities. He has written and produced this show for 7 years (Jun 2006 to
Dec 2013) .The style of scripting and packaging of the show created a big impact on TV
programs. The punch line of the show gone instantly hit from day one–“WO JO HAIN
SAMAJ KE DUSHMAN AUR INSAN KE BHES ME CHIPE DARINDE/ UN SHAITANO UN
HAIWANO KO KARNE BENAQAB/ HAZIR HOON MAIN ACP ARJUN.” In this marathon run

As a theatre artist he acted (1982 to 1990) in more than 20 plays staged in Indore, Gwalior,
Bhopal, Raipur, Delhi and Mumbai. His main plays are:

are: DURGESH NANDINI, MISSION PROZITA, BADAL RAHE HAIN GAON, AMMI CHUTTI
PAR HAI, KANJI HOUSE etc. He penned many AIR program at Indore like AZADI KI
ANUGOONJ, MALWA KA RANGMANCH. He has written a special program on great
Indian film music director RD BURMAN for AIR aired on 30 June 1992 from Mumbai and on
almost 192 stations then. He dubbed voice for wormer brothers film “Jesus” (Malawi
edition) and “Bible” for audio album series.
Recorded many songs
As a creative writer he likes to write poems. Penned many songs for plays, New Year
programmes of Naidunia communication, Doordarshan, literacy campaign, musical bands
and for the album : CHILD FOR CHILDREN by Palak Muchal a known film singer. Some of
songs composed by known film and theatre musicians Amod Bhatt, Jerry Amaldev, Dileep
Bose and Meghdeep Bose. Written two plays, YE FILM HAI ZARA HATKE a musical
comedy drama for mask magic, Mumbai, Director: Arun Kaate, staged in Mumbai and
Gwalior) .Another play name MATTAMA (staged for Gujrati girls collage Indore, director,
Mukesh Dube ).
