 Assisted ICRC teams in the implementation of a post – harvest assessment (PHA) 2014 to 2015
 Responsibility of the teams conducting the PHA , ensured the assessment teams were using the agreed methodology for
data collection and determined the samples sizes in Darfur states for the questionnaires, briefed and supervised the data
collection of the PHA
 Participated the final PHA report, including data’s analysis
 Organizing the necessary meeting with state research station in Nyala to enable follow up of the ICRC foundation seeds
multiplication project

2. Agronomist Field Officer- from February 2008 till June 2014:
Darfur States;
A. Understand ,analyses and evaluation the agricultural related in Darfur:
 Monitor the agricultural sector and establish early warning system.
 Monitor the livelihood and nutrition of communities and inform the delegations of any possible needs.
 Monitor the general agricultural situation in the field and report emergencies and inform the delegations.
 Data base management (Implementation of registration operations at the field level an asset, liste, experimental data entry,
questionnaire evaluation).
B. Contribution the implementation and running of agricultural intervention as part of the EcoSec program in Darfur states:
 Set –up the plan of action for the implementation of the interventions.
 Identify and train field staff or key community persons.
 Oversee and monitor on the agricultural projects in the field
 Provide regular written reporting on the progress of the project and contribute to the weekly operational report (WOR).
 Implementation of the projects (Beneficiary lists , budget follow up ,filling in request orders , preparing field trip ,ect).
 Set up community based on –farm ,trials, providing assistanceextension ,monitoring farmers trials:-
 Maintain and develop contacts with agricultural authorities at states and district level and with NGOs in the
 Supervises the FOs in every phase of EcoSec activities, namely economic study of localities, selection process,
distribution phase and follow-up.
 Managed and ensured implementation of Agriculture, Livestock Relief Intervention, emergency assistance and livelihood
recovery projects.
 Representing ICRC in the coordination meetings with Humanitarian Actors in the area of the livelihood and food security
related fields.
 Responsible for seeds and food for seed protection program for South Darfur State including, organizing distribution,
prepare for Post Distribution Monitoring and Post-Harvest Assessment together with the National Society. Trained the
National Society volunteers in executing the distributions. In general the South Darfur conflict affected population was
assisted.
 In connection to the implementation, prepared distribution Requisition Orders, calculate the quantities required items,
prepared time to time documents for the Ministry of Agriculture and other authorities.
 Produce reports of the distribution, Post Distribution Monitoring, Follow-up and Post-Harvest Assessment exercises.
Frequently updating the office in charge about the figures of the households assisted every day during the course of the
distribution
 Participated in planning and implementation of registration and verification process for Agro program beneficiaries.
 Organize and preparation the distribution site and distribution process of food & NFIs and ensured follow up
 Participated and supervise the FOs and Partners (communities & national society) on post distribution and Post-Harvest
Monitoring.
LIVELIHOOD SUPPORT PROGRAM

South Darfur State – Sudan
 Through the period, carried out a detail Livelihood Support Projects (LSP) assessment and proposed varieties of LSPs program in
the favour of conflict-affected population.
 Planning & implementation several project proposals, for example, Donkey Carts ,Grinding Machine, Tractor ploughing project,
Pump Irrigation Project, Cash transport supports {MEI & Agro seeds voucher }, including budget calculation and activity planning.

 Prepared Requisition Orders and send it to logistic department for action with close follow-up.
 Developed a good networking with communities/beneficiaries and authorities and implemented projects in participation of
communities.
 Provided relevant trainings in advance to national society members and community members as well that might require their
participation during project implementation.
 Monitor the quality of given items Post Distribution Monitoring {PDM}, perception of beneficiaries, utilization of the tools, etc. and
recommend the mitigations for the seen problems.
RELIEF INTERVENTION

 Organize assessments, registration and distribution during the emergencies.
 Lead and participated in the registration and verification of the targeted beneficiaries and organize the relief distributions

Contribution the implementation and running of agricultural intervention as part of the EcoSec program in Darfur states:  Set –up the plan of action for the implementation of the interventions.  Identify and train field staff or key community persons.  Oversee and monitor on the agricultural projects in the field  Provide regular written reporting on the progress of the project and contribute to the weekly operational report (WOR).  Implementation of the projects (Beneficiary lists , budget follow up ,filling in request orders , preparing field trip ,ect).  Set up community based on –farm ,trials, providing assistanceextension ,monitoring farmers trials:-  Maintain and develop contacts with agricultural authorities at states and district level and with NGOs in the  Supervises the FOs in every phase of EcoSec activities, namely economic study of localities, selection process, distribution phase and follow-up.  Managed and ensured implementation of Agriculture, Livestock Relief Intervention, emergency assistance and livelihood recovery projects.  Representing ICRC in the coordination meetings with Humanitarian Actors in the area of the livelihood and food security related fields.  Responsible for seeds and food for seed protection program for South Darfur State including, organizing distribution, prepare for Post Distribution Monitoring and Post-Harvest Assessment together with the National Society. Trained the National Society volunteers in executing the distributions. In general the South Darfur conflict affected population was assisted.  In connection to the implementation, prepared distribution Requisition Orders, calculate the quantities required items, prepared time to time documents for the Ministry of Agriculture and other authorities.  Produce reports of the distribution, Post Distribution Monitoring, Follow-up and Post-Harvest Assessment exercises. Frequently updating the office in charge about the figures of the households assisted every day during the course of the distribution  Participated in planning and implementation of registration and verification process for Agro program beneficiaries.  Organize and preparation the distribution site and distribution process of food & NFIs and ensured follow up  Participated and supervise the FOs and Partners (communities & national society) on post distribution and Post-Harvest Monitoring. LIVELIHOOD SUPPORT PROGRAM Assessment, Project Proposals, Implementation & Monitoring South Darfur State – Sudan  Through the period, carried out a detail Livelihood Support Projects (LSP) assessment and proposed varieties of LSPs program in the favour of conflict-affected population.  Planning & implementation several project proposals, for example, Donkey Carts ,Grinding Machine, Tractor ploughing project, Pump Irrigation Project, Cash transport supports {MEI & Agro seeds voucher }, including budget calculation and activity planning.
  • 3. 3  Prepared Requisition Orders and send it to logistic department for action with close follow-up.  Developed a good networking with communities/beneficiaries and authorities and implemented projects in participation of communities.  Provided relevant trainings in advance to national society members and community members as well that might require their participation during project implementation.  Monitor the quality of given items Post Distribution Monitoring {PDM}, perception of beneficiaries, utilization of the tools, etc. and recommend the mitigations for the seen problems. RELIEF INTERVENTION Assessment, Registration & distribution South Darfur State – Sudan  Organize assessments, registration and distribution during the emergencies.  Lead and participated in the registration and verification of the targeted beneficiaries and organize the relief distributions  Plan and implemented the Post Distribution Monitoring (PDM) and Post Harvest Assessment (PHA) of assistance.
