5. What is Haema
Haema is just another name of blood. Blood is in English and Haema is the Latin name of
Blood.
We are human being and our body is consist of blood. Some times it is necessary to give
and take blood for several reasons.
From this necessity and by facing some serious cases in practical life while collecting
blood for some serious patients we recognize that it is high time to renovate the system
of blood donation system.
And that’s why this is our simple step with the collaboration of you.

6. How it will work
This is a Blood Donation Database based on Patients and Donors and it will be web
based and in future we have a plan of making it for mobile friendly like for
windows, android and iOS.
Here, every member will have an unique ID which will consider as a Primery Key.
Every member can be change their positions like One member can be a donor
today and tomorrow be a Patient.
An Username and Password is required to login. (Username & Passwords have to
create by Users by their own). First time we will give a common password while
launching the project and it will be 123456 and user name will be the unique id
which might be created by us or the user and it will be changeable once only.
It is necessary to give User’s Full Name, User’s Address, Valid Phone
Number(Verification needed), Blood Group is mandatory to be a member.
If anyone feels doubt with themselves that whether they are eligible to donate
blood or not, simply they can take a Quiz Test which will be available here by
which they will get known to their eligibility.
7. FAQs
If any user want to know his/her eligibility about donating blood he/she may take a Quick Quiz
Test simply answering some questions by clicking YES or NO option. Such as:

Are you over 70 years of age?
Had a tattoo in the last 6 months?
Pregnant or Just Given Birth?
Had a serious heart condition?
Have any problem of Hormone or Allergy?
Low in Iron?
Engaged in “AT RISK” Sexual activity in last 12 months?
Ever injected “RECREATIONAL DRUGS”?
Going overseas in the 4 months before your donation?
8. Our Goals
We launched the project as a non profit task.
We faced some terrible situations on collecting blood. For this we wanted to
renovate the system of blood donation.
First of all we will make our database with our Faculty Members and students.
After that we will go to the Schools, Colleges, Universities with the
cooperation of our Faculty members and course mates.
We will spread it for all the devices compatible with Windows, Android, iOS
(its our future plan)
9. How it will work?
First we will develop the database. We will represent it to our course
coordinator. He will finalize the settings and will help us with suggestions. We
will create a website on it, we have a plan of making apps of mobile friendly.
Here everyone is a donor and a collector. Our plan is to do things like, suppose I
need A+ blood emergency. I have an ID in this website, I will log in there and
Search by my Hospital, Blood Group and I will find the list of same group people
who are in the database sorting by the area where I am residing or where I need
the blood. After that if I press communicate option(will be there) an automated
Text Message will be sent to those peoples with your cell phone number, name
and hospital name. We hope this will be helpful for our users and it will take
short time than ever.
