While doing a PPT presentation we have to keep in mind that the slides should be well arranged and don't describe too many unnecessary things in that. Because most of us only watch that by the pictures they don't like reading bullshit articles. This presentation is about how a software can help a library, from student databases to the prizes of books and other thing can be included there too. So don't be bother any more if you are a librarian then you must have a computer and if a software is installed it that like this then surely it's going to help you in your busy schedule. I have done that in past for my college seminar project for my college last year. The mentor and juries liked that so much. Just think about this, May be you could make lot changes in that for future. If i have spoke something wrong then plz forgive me.Good Luck bye...

Introduction :- Library management System is a small program to manage library which includes the task of:-  Adding new users, books and magazines/newspapers. Updating Users, books and magazines/newspapers. Deleting Users, books and magazines/newspapers. Issuing Books. Collecting Books back. Searching for books, users. Crystal Report Generation In our project we will be able to classify users as staff or students. Classifying users allows the book issue controls, fine rates based on the classification. For example for students we will be able to issue 2 books at the fine rate of Rs. 2 as late fee and 3 books at the fine rate of Rs. 1 for staffs. What more, we can change this settings based on our needs but we have to set this values just one and not every time the program starts. We have used my. settings class to implement this.

  6. 6. Main window : CliCking to the ok button of previous page or login form. We have to enter is this page. this is the main form Where We Can do all the various task.
  7. 7. Various Operation By Users : To enter into this page we have to click on the MenuStrip button then select Add New User button (From Users button) from the previous page or the main window. In this page we can add new user. Similarly, we can update, delete the user too, by using the given button on the main window as I have mention before in the upper paragraph.
  8. 8. Various operation With books Dept : To enter into this page we have to click on the MenuStrip button then select Add Book (From Books button) button from the main window means the MDI form. In this page we can add new books. Similarly, we can update, delete the user too, by using the given button on the main window as I have mention before in the upper paragraph.

Various works with Magazine/News paper : To enter into this page we have to click on the MenuStrip button then select Add Magazine/Newspaper (from Magazine/Newspaper button)button from the main window means the MDI form. In this page we can add new Magazine/Newspaper. Similarly, we can update, delete the user too, by using the given button on the main window as I have mention before in the upper paragraph.
  10. 10. Book Issue and Fine form : When We are entering from the login page to the main mDi page in that case this page Will be Display. in this page We can issue the amount of books to be issueD With issueD Days. from the fine tab We can put fine amount for the staff, for the stuDent.
  11. 11. Books Availability : to enter into this page We have to click on the menustrip button then select complete list of books (from reports button)button from the main WinDoW means the mDi form. from the book list you can knoW the books Which is available in library.
  12. 12. Student List Report: to enter into this page We have to click on the menustrip button then select complete list of stuDent (from reports button)button from the main WinDoW means the mDi form. from the stuDent list you can knoW the stuDent Which are aDDeD in library.
  13. 13. Staff List Report: to enter into this page We have to click on the menustrip button then select complete list of staff(from reports button)button from the main WinDoW means the mDi form. from the staff list you can knoW the staff Which are aDDeD in library.
  14. 14. Issue Books : If you are in the main page, means library management system page click on Issue Book button this page will show in the screen. Here you can enter the following information like ID. NO. ,Name, Year, Dept, issue date, Book ID, Book name, Book author etc. about student or staff Book Issue or Renew Book Issue.
  15. 15. Return Books : If you are in the main page, means library management system page click on Return Book button this page will show in the screen. Here you can enter the following information like Book ID, Book name, Book author, Fine, Name etc. and Return Book from the library.
  16. 16. Manage Course : If you are in the main page, means library management system page click on MenuStrip button User and from it choice Manage Course. Then this page will show. Here you can Add, Delete and Update all the course ID and Course Name into the blocks given.
  17. 17. Searching Operation : If you are in the main page, means library management system page click on Search button a Context MenuStrip is appear from it select search by student/staff ID tab. Here you can search the following information of Staff/student ID, Staff/student Name. From the Database which have saved into the Library Management System. In the context manustrip there are some other Search operation is available for doing various operation.
  18. 18. Books Database : oIt`s a backend database program which is created with the Microsoft Access 2007, developed for the Library Management System. By this application we can put all the New Books entries in the tables.
  19. 19. Course Database : Book Issue Database : oIt`s a backend database program which is created with the Microsoft Access 2007, developed for the Library Management System. By this application we can see all the course , and book issue entries in the tables.
  20. 20. Login Database : Management Database : oIt`s a backend database program which is created with the Microsoft Access 2007, developed for the Library Management System. By this application we can see all the user of this system (login database) and management system entries in the system by the tables.
  21. 21. Student Database : oIt`s a backend database program which is created with the Microsoft Access 2007, developed for the Library Management System. By this application we can see all Student who have all ready been enter in the System through tables which is given in the database.
  22. 22. Key Board Shortcuts : If you are in the main page, means library management system page click on MenuStrip button About and from it choice Key Shortcuts. Then this page will show. Here you can get this information about the how to control the Library Management System using the key boards.

  24. 24. Conclusion : The project LIBRARY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM is for computerizing the working in a library. The software takes care of all the requirements of an a library and is capable to provide easy and effective storage of information related to books & users.
