A Rat named Remy dreams of
becoming a great French chef
despite his family's wishes and the
obvious problem of being a rat in a
decidedly rodent-phobic profession.
When fate places Remy in the
sewers of Paris , he finds himself
ideally situated beneath a restaurant
made famous by his culinary hero,
Auguste Gusteau. Despite the
apparent dangers of being an
unlikely – and certainly unwanted –
visitor in the kitchen of a fine French
restaurant, Remy's passion for
cooking soon sets into motion a
hilarious and exciting rat race that

4. The hero
• The hero : Remy is the hero in ratatouille
aswell as the donor because he is the hero
in the end but at the beginning he is a
donor as he helps Linguine.
• Linguine on the other hand is perceived as
the hero as he is seen to be making
spectacular dishes however it's actually
Remy and linguine is just Remy's hands. He
is also seen as the Donor as he is helping
Remy follow his dream.

5. The Donor
• In Ratatouille there are three possible
Donors. First Remy as he makes Gusteaus
the place to go again and makes Linguine
good at cooking. In the end Remy saves
Gusteaus and becomes a the head chef.
• Linguine , Linguine is seen as the Donor as
he helps Remy make his dream come true.

6. The villain
• The Villain in Ratatouille is Chef Skinner , he feels the need
to act tough and hates rats very much. When he discovers
Remy and eventually captures him. Skinner forces Remy to
create his own frozen food for him to get him rich he is also
hell bent on trying to claim Gusteaus as his.

7. The dispatcher
• Chef Gusteau is Remy's hero at
the beginning and throughout
the film he helps Remy and
advices him so he can follow his
dream despite being a rat.

8. The princess
• Colette in Ratatouille is not
necessarily a Princess in
need of being saved , she is
hardworking and strong
however she just wants to
be loved and she finds it
hard as people only want
her for her cooking and see
her as a threat. She
eventually develops a
budding romance with
linguine.

9. The magical helper
• In Ratatouille Emile , Remy's brother helps
Remy along with the rest of the rat colony
escape Skinner and eventually help cook in
the kitchen.

10. The false hero
• In Ratatouille there isn't necessarily a false
hero there are two characters Django and
Anton Ego who could be conceived as false
hero's . Django , Remy's father whom
doesn’t understand Remy's dream and
infatuation with humans and Anton ego the
food critic who doesn’t understand. He is
originally perceived as a villain but by the
end he's reformed.
